Development and Construction
Friedlander Misler represents building owners, developers, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors, and property managers in a wide array of construction projects, including new construction, renovations, and design-build. We draft and negotiate construction-related documents for projects that stand alone as well as for those that are part of larger developments or are in connection with a client’s overall management of its assets. In connection with our clients’ development projects, we prepare specialized documentation, such as restrictive covenants, declarations, reciprocal easements, and maintenance cost-sharing agreements.
Our attorneys draw upon their business and legal skills to draft a wide variety of construction documents with architects, engineers, design consultants, construction managers, general contractors, project managers, and owners’ representatives, including construction, design, engineering, bid, procurement, construction management, and design/build agreements, utilizing both AIA forms and custom documents.
